PlayStation Japan has just announced their free games lineup for PS Plus users for the month of December which was posted on their Official Website.
Although the announcement was written in Japanese, Silconera managed to translate it and give out the details.
The first game up for grabs on the PS4 is "Killzone: Shadow Fall" by Guerilla Games, which is a first-person shooter that helped the PS4 launch sales skyrocket last year. This futuristic, sci-fi FPS is the sixth of the "Killzone" franchise and has also enjoyed commercial success thanks to the PS4.
Next free game for the PS4 is "Natural Doctrine", which is a tactical role-playing game made by Kadokawa Games. The game is also available on the PS3 and PS Vita platforms, although you still have to purchase it.
Last but not the least is "God Eater 2" for the PS Vita by BANDAI NAMCO Games and Shift. This highly-acclaimed game is a hunting game with action and role-playing elements that you can also play cooperative, multiplayer with some friends.
It seems that Japan is getting all the good deals in PS Plus and Sony US and EU only announcing "Injustice: Gods Among Us" and "Secret Ponchos" as free games for PS Plus users for the month of December 2014. Sony has yet to give an official update for their PS Plus games lineup for December 2014 as of this post.
Meanwhile, many fans are still angry at Sony for not adding "Driveclub" PS Plus which was first teased and announced a few months back. Sony addressed this issue in the same announcement stating:
"We understand many of you are waiting for DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition to be added to the Instant Game Collection, and we apologise that the game is not yet ready to launch. We want you to know that we're committed to providing DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition to members when it's ready, and the team at Evolution Studios is working hard to make it a reality."
They also announced the January 2015 free games lineup for PS Plus in the same post. Free games for January 2015 are "inFAMOUS First Light" and "The Swapper" for the PS4.
