A few months ago, Phillip "Phil" Brooks, better known or as most people know as CM Punk, walked out on the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Wrestling news depot reports that while the wrestling entertainment athlete has stated his reasons with Power Slam Magazine as being unsatisfied by his below par performance, being worn down by his match schedules and the realization that a breakthrough would be less likely as he had already peaked his career back in 2012; It would seem as though as of late, his mind has been thinking otherwise as news of his return to the WWE has been circulating the media pool.
Christianpost reports, that after a few months of bearing bad blood towards each other, it would seem that CM Punk and the WWE organization have fixed their burnt down bridges which will reportedly conclude to the celebrated wrestler's return.
While rumors of CM Punk's return could be "setup as a party crasher" for fellow pro-wrestler, Sting's, debut on WWE's The Survivor Series this Sunday have been widely talked about, youtuber DrPowerBomb has also added the claim that CM Punk may be set up for a feud against Dean Ambrose.
Another speculated rumor around CM Punk's return is the involvement of WWE and movie superstar John Cena, and former UFC fighter Brock Lesnar. Kdramastars reports that as Sting was rumored to challenge the winner of the Lesnar versus Cena match at Summerslam, there could be chances of Lesnar showing up on CM Punk's return or on Sting's debut.
Kdramastars further reports that while a Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar title (WWE World Heavyweight championship) match have been the talk for fans, WWE could instead be steering the wheel on a different direction, with a triple threat match between Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Sting.
CM Punk is one of the longest reigning WWE Champions. He defended his belt from November 20 of 2011 to January 27 2013 where he lost the title match against Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock.
