Idol girl group EXID is getting a lot of attention lately after a fancam video focused on member Hani become a hot topic online.
In the video, Hani sexily showed her smooth dance moves before the crowd who cheered loudly for the K-pop group.
The viral video was taken during the group's performance of their song "Up & Down" on October 8. After it was uploaded, the video became the talk of the town online. This has surprisingly caused the song to shoot back into the local real-time music charts.
Allkpop reported that "Up & Down" was at no. 24 last November 21, then it jumped to no. 14 and then to no. 11. It was also reported that because of the overwhelming response from the fancam, EXID held a guerilla concert to greet their fans, especially the new ones.
The fancam video has over 1.5 million views on YouTube as of November 24.
The group released "Up & Down" on August 26, as part of their comeback. The music video, which now has 1.8 million views on YouTube, was intriguing for some fans as it showed what Asian Junkie described as a "phallus" concept.
In other news, the group celebrated their 1000 days since their debut last November 11. As part of their celebration, the group members released handwritten messages expressing their gratitude to Leggo (their official fanbase) for their unwavering support.
They also posted a special video message on their official Facebook account. According to allkpop, EXID had this to say for their fans, "Hello, its EXID! We, EXID, have reached our 1000th day. It's hard to believe that it's already our 1000th day. We think that it was thanks to your love. We prepared something... If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have made it this far. Thank you for loving us so so much until now. We hope to be together for the next 1000, 10000, to 10 million days. We are always thankful and love you. EXID LEGGO! Bye!"
