U.S. Billboard recently commended Hi Suhyun, a new unit under YG Entertainment composed of solo singer Lee Hi and Akdong Musician's Suhyun.

Both Lee Hi, 18, and Suhyun, 15, have been included on Billboard's "21 Under 21" list and "K-Pop Hot 100" list, KpopStars reports.

In their report about the new duo's song, "I'm different," Billboard praised the YG Entertainment's pairing for its uniqueness. It described the Lee Hi and Suhyun as "two of K-pop's most promising young musicians."

According to the website, the two artists unique music styles collided in "I'm Different," creating a brassy jazzy kind of music. The track, according to Billboard, reminds fans of Lee Hi's upbeat jazzy sound in her previous tracks such as "1,2,3,4" and "It's Over." It also noted that the mellow harmony and rap parts are reminiscent to Akdong Musician's "200%."

The news also commented on another new YG talent, Booby, who was featured on Hi Suhyun's track. Bobby, who is a member of the record label's upcoming boy group iKON, brought his "raspy delivery for a quick verse," according to Billboard.

"I'm Different" MV showed the two girls as schoolgirls who are competing for the attention of Bobby, who played as their crush. In the music video, Lee Hi showed her cute side, while Suhyun played on the more confident and upfront style.

The ending of the music video showed fans an unexpected twist, which is reminiscent of Akdong Musicians' "200%" MV. As of November 22, the music video has already received 2.3 million views.

The new unit under YG Entertainment released "I'm Different" on November 11 and has since received positive comments from fans, particularly the two singer's vocal prowess, says The Korea Times.

Meanwhile, this is not the only new unit YG Entertainment is promoting at present. The record label recently introduced Big Bang member's G-Dragon and Taeyang as a new unit called GD x Taeyang. Their single "Good Boy" has been received positively. It did not only become a worldwide trending topic on Twitter but also topped in major music charts in Korea.
