The Toronto Raptors will travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks Wednesday night on November 26, 2014. The battle between the two Eastern Conference teams will tip off at 7:30 P.M and can be viewed live online for free by clicking here.
The scorching hot Raptors are looking for their sixth straight victory when they host the Hawks Wednesday night and are off to an impressive 12-2 start early in the season after edging the Phoenix Suns on a 104-100 win on Monday. Lithuanian big man Jonas Valanciunas led the team in scoring with a season-high27 points on 10 of 11 shooting while DeMar DeRozan added 23 points according to Sports Chat Place. The Raptors managed to escape with a victory after squandering a 17-point lead by out-rebounding the Suns in the offensive glass and converting timely baskets.
"When we win, we still have very serious conversations about how we can get better," backup guard Lou Williams, who spent the previous two seasons in Atlanta, told the Raptors' official website per Fox Sports Game Preview. "Guys hang out a lot off the court in this group just talking about things we can do to turn that page, go to the next step and get to that next level. The culture has been building and it's a positive experience."
Winning in Atlanta, though, might not be easy for the Raptors who have lost the past 10 out of 12 meetings. The Hawks have also been successful in protecting their home averaging 104.5 points and winning five of the six games at Phillips Arena.
Atlanta (7-5) are also looking for their third straight win after sneaking past the Wizards on the road for a 106-102 victory Tuesday night at Washington. Jeff Teague led the way with a season high-tying 28 points. The bench also stepped up for the Hawks with Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack combining for 30 points, including the team's first 16 points in the fourth quarter.
"We have a lot of confidence in those two guys," coach Mike Budenholzer said. "They believe in each other and believe in what they're doing on both ends of the court. At times they can both get going."
Atlanta is the underdog in this match-up, getting 3.0 points here at home. The Total has been posted at Over/Under 204.0 per Pro Cappers.
