Four hours of Final Fantasy XV can be played through a download code included in pre-orders of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, as revealed by Square Enix game director Hajime Tabata in a livestream for Type-0 HD. However, the offer might only be valid until a certain time.
According to Christian Today, Tabata confirmed the inclusion of the four-hour "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" demo in the "Final Fantasy Type-0" pre-orders in a session of Square Enix Presents. However, there is still no news on when the "Episode Duscae" demo will be made available and for how long.
According to Dual Shockers, Tabata says the game is still in development. "The development team is still working on improving the demo based on user feedback and the information they're receiving from the community," the article continues. Tabata spoke on the live stream about "Final Fantasy XV" being "the next generation" game for the franchise.
Tabata hasn't said anything definite about the window of time when the download code for the demo will be valid, but it had been mentioned that it will only be available for some time. However, even after the time for download has elapsed, Dual Shockers says that the downloaded demo can still be played.
Christian Today shares that "Final Fantasy Type-0" coupled with "Episode Duscae" can now be pre-ordered from the game's official site, GameStop, and Amazon. GameStop offers the bundle for $59.99 while Amazon offers a $0.03 discount from the retail price.
According to Gaming Bolt, the purchase of the bundle will include a download code for the demo. The demo will be take at least an hour to complete and could offer up to four hours of game play. "If you were to play it normally it would take somewhere in the region of three to four hours," the article clarifies.
"Final Fantasy Type-0" is a highly anticipated game in itself. Christian Today describes it as mature, with having "high-definition visuals of epic and gripping battles and bloodshed." It will be available for both PS4 and Xbox on March 17 2015 in North America, while Europe will get it on March 20, 2015.
