Samsung Galaxy S6 release: 'Project Zero' Galaxy S6 will be bulilt with metal frame, and to rival LG G3's quad hd display; Samsung's past releases suggest that S6 is to be released by early 2015

One of the two Korean tech and electronics giants Samsung, has been one of the more popular names in the smartphone industry. Famous for their Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series, the Korean manufacturer has been one of the more newsworthy OEM's in the industry. Now, they are at it again following the disappointing sales of its latest Galaxy S flagship - the S5, Samsung is now looking to redeem itself through Project Zero and the Galaxy S series' next generation - the Samsung galaxy S6 .

As almost every flagship today has the same identical specs and features, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is looking to mix things up a bit. Trusted Reviews reports that, as per SamMobile, Samsung insiders who refused to be recognized have been quoted saying:

"Samsung is developing its next-generation flagship device from scratch, with an entirely new vision."

While this remains to be proved upon its official release, rumored specs of Samsung's next flagship have been floating around the rumor mill. Only rivaled by the LG G3, Phone Arena reports that the S6 is rumored to have a Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, however, no size has been indicated. Albeit, the Note 4 and Note Edge has already beat the S6 to the Quad HD bandwagon, it is still an improvement from the S5's 1920x1080p or Full HD (FHD) display, adds Trusted Reviews.

Another notable rumor about the S6, is its build. PC Advisor reports that while the S5 was widely criticized for its plastic design, the S6 could probably build on the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4's metal-frame-design hype. Other rumored specs, include a processing power from a Snapdragon 808/810 variant and an Exynos 7420 variant. The S6 could possibly be released with a basic 32GB memory with 64GB, and 128GB options, paired with 3GB of ram. The S6 could also release with a 20 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera.

Official release dates have yet to be announced but judging on Samsung's past activities, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) has always been their platform for showing off their new flagships. The MWC usually comes in the first week of March, which could mean that the Samsung Galaxy S6 could hit the shelves by the end of March or early April 2015, Phone Arena reports.
