Former EXO member Luhan lent his vocals to an OST track for his upcoming movie, "Back to 20s," which is the Chinese adaptation of Korean movie "Miss Granny."
Luhan's song titled "Our Tomorrow" was released on December 1 during the press conference of the movie held in Beijing, Koreaboo reports. The main cast members of the movie attended the event, along with Luhan, who sang the song on stage.
The official music video was released on the same day, as well.
"Our Tomorrow" is an emotional ballad which matched the singer's strong voice. According to Soompi, the theme song is gaining popularity among fans because it is the former EXO member's first shot at singing a movie OST track.
The movie marks not only Luhan's first OST but also his debut on the big screen. Koreaboo noted that because Luhan is playing the role of a band vocalist in the movie, the singer-actor could also have been given much screen time to show his vocal prowess.
The former EXO member stars alongside actress Yang Zishan. His character will fall in love with Yang's character unaware the lady is actually his 70-year-old grandmother who mysteriously transformed into a 20-year old beautiful lady overnight.
At the press conference, Luhan expressed his gratitude to his co-stars. "I am a newbie, so I'm uncertain about some things, so Grandma is the one teaching me most of the time," he said.
Following his filing of lawsuit against record agency SM Entertainment in October, Luhan made his first public appearance in early November during the promotions of "Back to 20s."
The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters January 8, 2015.
Luhan, who has gone as a solo artist after he left EXO, will be entering a court-appointed mediation with the Korean record label to discuss the dispute concerning the artist's contract.
Meanwhile, EXO is currently promoting as a 10-member group. The idol group will be performing on the upcoming "Mnet Asian Music Awards" (MAMA 2014) in Hong Kong on December 3.
