Stephanie Moseley found dead together with rapper husband Earl Hayes in L.A.; Possible murder-suicide case?

VH1 star Stephanie Moseley and husband rapper Earl Hayes were found dead in their Los Angeles apartment last Monday, December 8, 2015. Initial reports state that rapper Earl Hayes may have shot Stephanie Moseley, a professional dancer and star of VH1 series "Hit the Floor", before shooting himself.

Fox reported that LAPD's SWAT officers who responded to the location found the two victims inside their apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. The LAPD released a statement to US Weekly and said, "The initial investigation revealed that 34-year-old Earl Warren Hayes shot his wife, 30-year-old Stephanie Elyse Moseley to death and then took his own life."

TMZ reported that boxer and Hayes' friend, Floyd Mayweather may have witnessed the whole incident unfold. That Monday morning, Hayes had called Mayweather via FaceTime and was "in a rage" and claims that his wife has been unfaithful to him and the rapper said that he was going to kill her. Mayweather pleaded to Hayes to back to his senses but it was all too late.

The alleged infidelity of Stephanie Moseley came from her one-time fling with Grammy-nominated singer Trey Songz according to a report from Mail Online.

Before joining the Vh1 series, Moseley had been a backup dancer for artists like Chris Brown and Britney Spears, Fox News reported. Those who knew Stephanie Moseley was shocked with her death and they expressed their sympathy over the death of the dancer.

VH1 was stunned by the death of Stephanie Moseley and they released a statement saying, "We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire Hit The Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time."

CBC reports that Moseley learned how to dance at Danzmode Productions in Burnaby,. B.C. under the directions of her long time mentor, Rachel Poirier. "Steph was a true talent, very humble, gracious, and it's just horrible," according to Poirier. She further said that "Everybody admired her so much ... probably one of my students that I talk about the most because I'm so proud of her and her success."
