Smartphone company Motorola is set to cash in the holiday demand with its cheapest mobile phone ever.
According to CNet, the Moto E will be sold at a very low price of $149.99 via Amazon. The website pointed out that this is already a good deal, considering the fact that it retails at $179.99.
Moreover, The Fuse Joplin said that the second generation Moto E is expected to be released in the same design as with the original. The phone's display will be increased to 4.5 inches and will have a 960x450 pixel display improvement based on the leaked photos shared online. The Moto E is also expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 400 or 410 chipset and a 1.2 GHz quad core processor at 1GB RAM. There is no data yet as to how much internal memory or microSD card support Moto E would carry, but as all latest mobile phone versions would go, there is no doubt that it will be bigger than the original. TFJ is expecting it to carry 4GB memory.
The Moto E will be running on the updated Android 5 Lollipop, said Christian Today. The phone's camera shooter is also decent for the affordable smartphone at 5 megapixels. However, the site said that Moto E may not feature an LED flash.
As with the question on whether Moto E will support 4G, CNet said that this might disappoint some fanatics. On the other hand, Rick Broida for the site said that this shouldn't be the case.
He wrote, "For example, my house is without power at this very moment. I'm online via an old Sprint 3G hotspot (showing just three bars, incidentally). And you know what? Web pages load just fine, if a hair slower than usual. E-mail: fine. I even tried streaming from Spotify: worked fine. Bottom line: Most of us are spoiled by 4G, but we can get along just fine on 3G. Especially on a phone."
