Will "White Collar" end with Neal Caffrey earning his freedom? Is it the end of his friendship with Mozzie now that he's keeping secrets?

"White Collar" is on its way to its concluding episode, and show creator Jeff Eastin is keeping important things under wraps such as why Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) is keeping secrets from Mozzie (Willie Garson) and whether he will be free by the end of the series.

As the show comes to an end, "White Collar" has episode 6 tying up things, but so far things remain under wraps for fans. One question that is plaguing the minds of viewers is what Caffrey's secret is and why he isn't willing to share this one with Mozzie, who he had been sharing most of his secrets with in the past.

According to Enstarz, "This sudden secret keeping is an odd move for a con who so often confides in his co-conspirator." Also according to the article, Mozzie will not be thrilled with the idea of being kept out of the loop. The article was quick to say that episode 6's finale entitled "Au Revoir" will be explaining why Caffrey hesitation to clue in Mozzie to his plans, however.

Series creator Jeff Eastin further describes that Mozzie will be "left out in the cold a little bit" but that the reason behind it "will be obvious once you get to the finale," as reported by TV Line.

Along with that hurdle, another question is whether the con-man will finally get his freedom by the end of the series, Enstarz mentions. While that may not be answered yet, there is expectation that Mozzie will still be with Caffrey if he does get his freedom.

Eastin has also refused to answer whether Caffrey will live a clean life should he be granted his freedom. As TV Line quotes Eastin, "With Neal, nothing is ever exactly what it seems."

According to IB Times, Caffrey has made a deal with the FBI regarding his freedom in the penultimate episode of the show. "He will help them arrest the notorious gang of thieves, the Pink Panthers, in exchange for his freedom," IB Times reports. However, things become complicated when Caffrey meets the supposed head of the gang, who suspects there is a mole among their ranks, and sees his "ex-pal" and "alter ego," Keller (Ross McCall), among the members.

Eastin hints that Keller's presence will be making Caffrey think about his own identity and "figuring out exactly who he is," continues TV Line.
