Hayden Panettiere is a new mom! The "Nashville" actress gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Tuesday, according to her representative to E! Online. Her daughter with fiancé, boxer Wladimir Klitschko, was named Kaya and weighed in at 7 lbs, 14 oz, and was 20 inches long, according to People magazine.
Panettiere first revealed her baby's gender to E! and that she is excited with her new role as a parent. She said then to Hello! Magazine, "I'm so ready to hold my baby girl-I'm going to be a very hands on mom. I'm thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too."
Panettiere didn't hide her pregnancy even on the show, HollywoodLife observed. Her character Juliette Barnes was also made pregnant on the show, and in the third season, fans will expect the country singer to struggle with her being a new mother. In the fall finale, one scene showed Juliet and ex-boyfriend Avery (Jonathan Jackson) discussing their future plans once the baby comes while folding baby clothes. Avery offers Juliet to move in but they will have different rooms. The two were also seen discussing how they should introduced themselves to their baby once she gets older considering the demise of their relationship.
But the site is wondering whether introducing baby Kaya as the tv daughter of Juliet could be a possibility. This could be a wonderful idea given the fact that things were looking up towards the end of the midseason finale when Avery decides to man up and proposed marriage to Juliet, Rolling Stone reported. The two are seen tying the knot in a judge's chambers and were all smiles.
"Nashville" will return on February 4th on ABC.
