HBO released the newest clip for the "Game of Thrones" Season 5 trailer. The network originally intended to show the said clip to their fans through their official webpage after signing up with the use of their mobile phone numbers. Time reports that those fans who signed up will receive a link to the teaser in their phones which they can use to play the clip.
Avid Fans of the HBO hit series "Game of Thrones" will remember that the network launched the website, The Three Eyed Raven last November to give the fans a "Sight" of what is to come in Season 5. It encourages fans to receive updates via Twitter or SMS.
The Daily News reported that once the fans have seen "The Sight", they will receive a cryptic message, "This Vision Has Come and Gone," and the teaser clip can no longer be viewed again. They also added that some fans were not able to see the teaser clip in their mobile phones and they took to twitter their complaints. The Official Twitter of the Show took steps to control the damage and they replied, "A raven will bring you a new vision soon. Thank you for keeping watch."
Despite the diligent attempts of HBO to keep the Game of Thrones teaser secured, a witty Redditor was able to record the clip and share it online. According to Huffington Post, Redditor d4rknut was able to get around the network's security.
The new teaser for "Game of Thrones" Season 5 shows that Sansa in a resigned position, a gloomy Tyrion, Cersei behind a window, the three-eyed raven, someone rowing a boat, a weirwood tree and a book being shut, which is probably the White Book of the Kingsguard. The Age reports that the trailer is spooky and it only serves to "whet the appetite" for a proper trailer which will show what Season 5 of the hit show will be.
