Noticed any mysterious messages in your "Pokemon" games recently?
If you're playing the latest release- "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire"- then perhaps you have. International Business Times reports that players have been spotting encrypted messages in their copies of the latest "Pokemon" game.
And just in case you think this is nothing but a wacky fan theory or a bunch of overzealous Pokenuts reading too much into things, Nintendo confirmed it themselves on their official "Pokemon" website.
Seen above is an image of the braille-like secret message, found on the "Pokemon" site, along with this caption:
"Mysterious messages have been left in the Hoenn region since ancient times. By reading and deciphering them, you'll be able to meet the Legendary Pokémon Regirock, Regice, and Registeel."
Regirock, Regice and Registeel, in case you didn't know, are legendary Pokemon who first appeared in "Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire." Because of that, it makes sense that they'd also show up in the 3DS remakes of those games- "Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
But that's not all. International Business Times adds that typically, when all three Regi-prefixed Pokemon are summoned, this can unlock the legendary Pokemon Regigigas, who is also contained within "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
As well, KpopStarz has a massive rumor involving the latest "Pokemon" game. They're claiming that story elements in the newest "Pokemon" movie, "Pokemon the Movie XY 2015" may lead to another "Pokemon" sequel, that's a follow-up to both "Pokemon X and Y" and "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." They're saying the game may be called "Pokemon Z" or "Pokemon Delta Emerald"- and we do know that Nintendo filed a trademark on "Pokemon Delta Emerald" this year, so this theory might have some truth to it.
Check back soon for the latest secrets from "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
