As "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's 15-month jail sentence nears, the celebrity is reportedly freaking out about her possible life in prison and the state of her daughters' life with husband Joe once she serves time.
According to a family friend who told Hollywood Life, "Teresa's panicking. She's worried about her parents dying, her husband cheating and leaving her girls."
RadarOnline said that Joe as a single father looking after Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and 5-year-old Audriana might be too difficult, and that Teresa believes that her husband may not be up for the job and could ask friends to look after the children.
"She knows Joe doesn't want to take care of them, and she doesn't think he's capable. Theresa has become so desperate, she's now considering giving her kids to friends!," an unidentified source has said.
An insider of the family also added that Gia is planning to live with one of her friends in her girl group 3KT. The insider said, "She knows her family needs her, but she also realizes that she needs a mother figure while her mom is locked away. She's at the age where she really needs a mother in her life to help her through the changes of going from a girl into a young woman, and it's not like she'll be able to pick up a phone and dial her mom at a moment's notice."
But if there's anything that Teresa might want to focus at this point, it would be the harsh life that awaits her in prison. A former inmate at Danbury prison where Teresa is expected to serve told Hollywood Life, "[Teresa] won't realize how much she needs her freedom until it's gone. Whatever she thinks, it will actually be 100-times worse."
