After months of anticipation, DC fans may get their first glimpse at the "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer during the Mad Max: Fury Road movie premiere. The forthcoming Jack Snyder superhero film is set to hit theaters in 2016, and already it has gained a lot of hype.
Reportedly, the latest internet rumors have surfaced and claimed that latest trailer of 'Batman vs. Superman' will make its debut during the May 2015 premiere of George Miller's 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. This will be the fourth installment in the dystopian Mad Max series, with Tom Hardy playing the lead role.
While the filmmakers are yet to release an official statement on the matter, it is safe to say that both films are highly anticipated films from Warner Bros. Studios. In earlier October of this year, Batman on Film stated that the first teaser of the film was "good and ready to go."
There has even been a "leaked" trailer that went viral online which featured a voice-over by Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the film. According to the trailer, the plot of the film will focus on Superman and his struggles to gain control of his superhero abilities and his life.
Badass Digest also reports that the film will give more detail on Superman's life.
"When Superman encounters a bad guy and uncovers his plan, he tells the villain, 'I won't snap your neck, I'm going to take you to prison,' an on-the-nose response to criticisms of the first movie. Of course Superman later loses his cool and threatens to break the bad guy's back, so he hasn't quite internalized everything yet," the report says.
This blockbuster film will be a sequel Man of Steel. The film will focus on comic book heroes Batman and Superman (Henry Cavill), fighting against each other. It will also star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luthor.
