Different sources are claiming that either "The Last of Us 2' has been under development for production or confirmed for release. Naughty Dog has been closely followed by fans for clues about 'Last of Us 2' release confirmation.
The creative director of the 'Last of Us' game, Neil Druckmann, has reportedly announced about the sequel's "50/50" chance of getting on board for production, as reported by Air Herald.
'The Last of Us 2' expert character creator, Michael Knowland, accidentally hinted on Linked In that:
"The former Naughty Dog artist listed one month of 'prototyping head sculpts' on The Last of Us 2" Naughty Dog has likewise hinted that the recreation of the Joel and Ellie is being deviated upon by creators. From the looks of it, it seems that the possible game sequel will be one of the most creative games to grace the market.
Many fans are hoping for the release of 'The Last of Us' expanding the characters in the works, to viewers' delights. Fans are now in their places to expect something new and exciting from awaiting possible release of 'The Last of Us' 2.
No sooner than Knowland dropped this hint via Linked In, the statement was subsequently taken off, thereafter, as reported by an article in Tech Radar. A suspicion that a story concept strikingly varying against that of Joel's and Ellie's materializing in "The Last of Us" sequel has been the talk of the town, too, according to the same article from Tech Radar.
An article in Filehippo News though, released the theory that the marketability success of the previous 'Last of Us' game franchise is likely going to motivate Sony to release the mentioned sequel for 2015 in PS 4.
'The Last of Us' has reportedly been able to propel sales for PS 3 versions above those for the Xbox 360 in the past months last year.
