After 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' reality star Teresa Guidice was sent to prison and was subsequently fired from the show, has Bravo Network decided to hand the death sentence on the reality show? Followers of the show have speculated that the show won't hold its ground without the "table-flipping" housewife.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, a report claims that Bravo Network is seriously considering cancelling the show due mostly to the fact that Teresa is no longer part of the show. "At this point, The Real Housewives of New Jersey is essentially done. Bravo has considered all of their options and they don't feel like there is really a show without Teresa. Whether the other women want to admit it or not, she is the star of the franchise. The show simply wouldn't be the same without her." the source from Radar Online said.
According to Inquisitr, there have been talks with the shows creators about the reality show taking a year off, and only coming back on the air once Teresa is out of jail. Ratings would certainly pick once Teresa is done with her jail time.
It is also to be noted that the show's producer Andy Cohen is a fan of Teresa's. Because of her absence, he might want to delay the filming of another series until she gets back.
Inquisitr had earlier reported that Teresa had surrendered quietly on Monday morning. According to sources, she was "prepared for the otherwise difficult situation"
"Teresa was extremely professional and didn't cry. She was determined not to look weak in front of anyone," the source reported. That's not to say that it was easy for Teresa, but she made sure that she kept it together when she needed to. There will be plenty of nights where she cries herself to sleep, but that's only to be expected."
