"Thor: Ragnarok" is still a long way away- before we can see the God of Thunder's third (and most likely final) feature film, we've got to make it through "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Ant-Man," "Captain America: Civil War," "Doctor Strange" and "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."
All that, of course, means we know very little concrete info about the film. But the Internet is churning with potential spoilers right now about "Thor: Ragnarok," so let's take a closer look at what's out there.
Oh, and this should be obvious, but there are SPOILERS ahead of this very sentence.
You've been warned.
One of the biggest rumors out right now is that the seeds of "Thor: Ragnarok" will be planted in the very next Marvel film, "Avengers: Age of Ultron." According to Ecumenical News, some of the final moments of "Age of Ultron" may cut back to where "Thor: The Dark World" left off, with Loki posing as Odin, ruling over Asgard. The rumors continue, claiming Loki will ignite a war between Midgard and Asgard that will be the start of "Thor: Ragnarok."
There's at least a little truth to this rumor: Tom Hiddleston has officially been confirmed for a small part in "Age of Ultron." Whether he's starting a multi-universe war is unknown, though.
KpopStarz, meanwhile, considers that several major characters may die by the end of "Thor: Ragnarok." They're speculating that Thor, Loki and Odin are likely candidates (if Odin is even still alive, which no one's truly sure of). A major death certainly makes sense, given that "Ragnarok" is one of the most monumental storylines in all of "Thor" comics- the mythical destruction of Asgard, Thor's realm.
And KDramaStars adds that even Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige isn't saying if Odin is alive or not, so he may well be slated for death in "Ragnarok."
Guess we'll just have to wait until 2017 to find out.
