The Rumors Were True! 'Thor 3' Officially Titled 'Thor: Ragnarok,' Will Pit Thor Against the Norse Apocalypse

By

It's common practice online to speculate as wildly as possible about any upcoming Marvel movies. Saw "Thor: The Dark World?" Great! Now immediately vent any and all possible predictions on message boards, comment sections, and any articles you can get your name attached to.

Heck, we've been doing it here at Venture Capital Post. It's fun- half the enjoyment of seeing Marvel films comes with drawing that post-credits teaser into hours of possible sequel predictions.

But sometimes, all the speculating? It's right on the money. And that's the case with "Thor 3"- because Marvel has gone on the record and officially announced the title as "Thor: Ragnarok."

Which is what the general predict-o-sphere has been saying for MONTHS.

Example- just two days before the announcement, Hallels put out a piece claiming that the most likely possible option for a "Thor" threequel would be the Ragnarok storyline. And they, like everyone else, were correct.

In case you need more proof, Marvel went ahead and put the official "Thor: Ragnarok" logo on their site- check it out up top if you're not quite onboard.

The inclusion of "Ragnarok" confirms a ton of new info for the Marvel Universe- on Marvel's official announcement, they mention the "Norse End of Days," so that means we're most likely getting Ragnarok in terms of the fire demon Surtur and the potential apocalypse of Thor's entire world.

Although the character Ragnarok- a robot clone of Thor- could also show up, given that character's importance in the Civil War comic storyline- which was confirmed for "Captain America 3."

The NY Daily News also has a quote from Marvel head honch Kevin Feige about "Thor: Ragnarok"- how the film will take Thor "to another level of his own franchise" and "will impact everything to come afterwards."

Check back soon for the latest news on "Thor: Ragnarok."
