'Arrow' fans have a reason to celebrate as their favorite crime-fighting drama is back for the second half of its third season. In this season, we will finally find out what happens to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) after his grueling and sanguinary battle against Ra's al Ghul.
The cliffhanger of the series left fans grasping for air as their favorite hero lost to the villain. Queen was impaled with a stabbed in the chest and was kicked off the cliff. He's probably dead or maybe not.
Here's what The Futon Critic wrote about the next episode with the title 'Left Behind' as reported by Christian Post.
In the absence of Arrow, what will now happen to the people of Starling City? It's a good thing that he has a band of crime-fighting heroes who believe that good must prevail.
After Oliver's intense fight against the formidable Ra's Ghul (Matt Nable), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Arsenal (Colton Haynes) has carried through their commitment to protect the city against those who threaten to crush the peace of the city. They try to keep their heads up and hope that Oliver will eventually show up. However, three days pass and still they hear none from their friend, and that's when they start to get weary about the real condition of Arrow. He cannot possibly be dead, thinks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). But the surprise appearance of Merlyn (John Barrowman) will shake them.
And with Arrows absence, a new breed of heroes will shine through the darkness and they have the determination to ward off the evil that's trying to consume the city. Arsenal, Black Canary and even ATOM will march forward and make sure that justice is served. It also looks like Thea is trying to fortify her skills and trains with her father, TV Fanatic reported.
Do you think Oliver will able to return soon? Or will he succumb to death?
'Arrow' will return on the small screens on the 21st of January.
