Enstarz reports that "NCIS: Los Angeles" is set to return after their brief break on January 19 with a potentially explosive of an episode, thanks to a Nepali gurkha.
On Wednesday, executive producer John Peter Kousakis announced that fans of the show will be welcoming back Ernie Reyes Jr. Reyes was first introduced as an army soldier from Nepal in the "Frozen Lake" episode. He may provide a little bit of action from the Office of Special Projects, according to Kousakis in his tweet. Reyes, who is a sayoc fighting style expert, is expected to partner up with fight choreographer Rafael Kayanan on the "Expiration Date" episode.
"Prep begins on E614. 1st 4 veteran [Terence Nightingall] on #NCISLA...Written by [Dave Kalstein] Starring our master Ghurka [Erin Reyes Jr.]. #staytuned," one tweet read.
Another read, "E614 Sayoc master [Rafael Kayanan] has created another sensational action sequence for us all! #staytuned #NCISLA #wontdisappoint."
It would be interesting to know what's up with Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) after their dangerous mission to contain a potential biological outbreak, thanks to a certain drug prototype that gives a patient Ebola when orally taken. At the winter premiere "Spiral," Celeb Dirty Laundry recounts that Callen was close to losing his life if not for Sam. "Big Brother"'s Julie Chen is expected to continue playing the role of US Ambassador Nancy Kelly, as she will be sending Callen and Sam back to the scene of the crime in order to solve a case. Cartermatt.com notes that Chen's appearance on a CBS show would be the third for "Big Brother." Earlier, Sharon Osbourne guest-starred in "CSI," while Aisha Tyler graced "Two and a Half Men." Sara Gilbert had been the girlfriend of Johnny Galecki's character on "The Big Bang Theory" for a period of time, but has since left the series.
