The police procedural television series 'NCIS' is down to its sixth season, and will be exposing the immense romance conflict on Season 5, which last aired on May 13 this year, on a new timeslot.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" is set to premiere on its new timeslot on Monday, September 29 at 10/9c. But what's next for the team?
On a TV Line report, executive producer Shane Brennan disclosed that they "have always operated at 100 percent." Furthermore, the production is set to add more twists and "great action sequences".
"We are going to try to make the show as noisy as we possibly can," Brennan begins. "We've never backed off on anything, and we're not backing off now in any way."
"We also hope to be able to make those great action sequences that we do so well even more intense," the showrunner reveals.
With regards to the timeslot, Brennan said that they would still continue on delivering the best of the series. "We won't disappoint the fans by changing it dramatically to fit the time slot," he clarified. "They're going to be relieved to know that it's the same show that they love."
"I think we can cater to new fans because of what we've been doing that kept the old fans happy for five seasons," he concluded.
In addition, the intriguing question that revolved on Kensi, Deeks, and Talia's love triangle becomes a center point for many viewers. What is next for the three?
On the past season, Kensi's eyes are on Talia after she becomes too close with Deeks. It seems that a little commotion is going to happen on the next season as revealed on a photo. Brennan, however, gave a hint about the said Kensi-Talia conflict on TV Line and said, "Talia (returning guest star Mercedes Masohn) poses some questions that make Kensi stop and think [about her Deeks situation]. She also gives Kensi some, let's call it, 'unasked-for advice'."
