CW's 'The Flash' will soon dash to the small screens and everyone is excited to know some spoilers of the show and what we've got so far is the identity of the villain Reverse Flash.
Who else would be the best source of this juicy information than the Reverse Flash himself Tom Cavanagh. This was revealed at the Television Critics Association's winter television previews event. So the Reverse Flash would be his character on the show -- Dr. Harrison Wells, reported Christian Post.
"He's the man in the yellow suit. Yes, I am Reverse Flash," Cavanagh said.
It was the Reverse Flash who killed the mother of Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash who is played by the actor Grant Gustin. The previous season showed how the two Flashes went against each other, and now fans will find out the real person of Dr. Wells who is supposedly the friend and mentor of Barry.
What's going on here? Was it not Dr. Wells who helped create The Flash? Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, "We're going to see what happened that night from the Reverse Flash's point of view."
Time travel must explain a few things: Dr. Wells and the Reverse Flash had a confrontation during the mid-season finale despite the fact that the two persons are indeed one and the same, reported International Business Times.
In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Mstarz reported the explanation given by Tom Cavanagh regarding the seeming complexity behind the identity of the Reverse Flash.
"You want Barry to succeed, then you can't just paint Reverse-Flash as bad, because Harrison and Reverse-Flash are responsible for helping Barry achieve his potential. And the reason that happens is, that helps Reverse-Flash achieve his potential. Eggs get broken along the way, certainly that's bad, but at the same time, there's complications to it."
What's more? It may not only be the Reverse Flash who will serve as the Flash's formidable enemies as 'Prison Break' actors will also appear in the limelight of super-villains.
Wentworth Miller will play as Leonard a.k.a. Captain Cold and tagging along with him would be Dominic Purcell who plays the role Mick Rickory as Heat Wave. They are so back in the Central City and that means trouble for the people and their hero.
