Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD' Season 2 returns March 3 and here are some juicy spoilers ahead of its midseason premiere.

After the news came out that actor Kyle Maclachlan, 55, will repeat his role on Showtime's reboot of hit drama series, Twin Peaks, he also discussed his character on the hit crime busting Marvel TV series.

In his reported interview, he shared that he was "pleasantly surprised" by how the show is doing for his returning character.

"I think it's only going to get more difficult (for Skye and Cal)", Machlachlan revealed. "When they hand me the scripts, I'm always pleasantly surprised by the direction they take the character in and what they're asking me to do."

He also added saying, "I like playing his scary side, and I like playing the father and man who has been through a lot."

The daughter and father drama that he and Bennet (as Skye) have on 'Agent of SHIELD' Season 2, Machlachlan spilled that their situation would become more challenging despite that he was not harmed before Skye has "transformed."

Meanwhile, Brett Dalton also spoke at the TCA Winter Press tour this week and talked about the impact of Ward's treacherous character in the storyline. He said, "I think that things will probably become clear by the end of this season, I would certainly hope. We've followed this guy for 10 episodes now."

He further stated, "The writers are really good at introducing something that makes you retrospectively look at the rest of the actions and all of the sudden you have an ah-ha moment...I hope that there's going to be some kind of twist where everything makes sense and comes into focus."

Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD' Season 2 returns for the midseason premiere and second half of the season beginning March 3 at 9PM on ABC.
