'Chicago PD' Season 2 News: Series Gets More Exciting with Erin Lindsey, Jay Halstead Hooking Up; Sophia, Jessie Spills Some Spoilers

By

On the January 14 episode of Chicago PD Season 2, Lindsey (Sophia Bush) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) has finally confirmed that there is something more going on between them. Although the couple’s future is still quite hazy, Sophia is very optimistic about the characters’ relationship making satisfying development.

Lindsey and Halstead both started out as friends a few years back. Now, this kind of relationship is something that is different from those where one person meets a random person in a bar and then goes out on a date shortly after that.

“I think that’s what fans are excited about. That’s what we’re excited about exploring, is how are all those things affected [or not] by this new dynamic,” Sophia said.

On the Jan 21st episode of Chicago PD Season 2, it should start from where the last episode left off. Sophia and Jesse gave bits of details on what fans can expect.

While Lind-stead fans are excited of what their years of friendship has become, their romance could still be kept secret for some time from the people who know them (or at least in the show). And as the two characters have finally started seeing each other as a couple on the previous episode, there is still one person that would seem to get in the way, and that would have to be Voight. The big question then is whether to tell him, or not? If so, how will the two handle his rage?

As for the question of them sleeping together, it seems that it’s not going to happen for now since Lindsey is set on an overseas mission in Bolivia that would last for about two months, leaving Jay for himself for quite some time.

With the excitement of Chicago PD Season 2 building up, prepare for more surprises, featuring a developing friendship, heart-pounding suspense, and mind-boggling cases that forensic people couldn’t get enough of.
