Ubisoft has just introduced a Fan Blog that does not only feature the fresh Far Cry 4 news, but also tutorials in making maps that is very much similar to those of the Far Cry games. The blog was owned by Stig Lillestøl, who happens to be one of the renowned Map Editors in the Far Cry community. Stig's passion for designing the game is quite obvious to those who have seen his tutorial videos.
"Most people don't really know what they're doing when they make their first map, and I know I certainly didn't myself,” Stig said. “So for people who are brand new to the editor, I think it's cool and helpful to see my videos and to learn from them.
So, aside from very reliable Far Cry 4 news, gamers and fans who would like to try out creating a whole new world for a game, the owner welcomes everyone to visit his blog as well as to check out his game tutorials, game reviews, and map building videos on his YouTube channel.
Speaking of maps, Ubisoft Montreal encourages everyone to check out the newly released Far Cry 4 DLC that is the “Escape from Durgesh Prison”, featuring characters like Ajay Ghale and the Far Cry 3 veteran Hurk. Being thrown into prison, naked and stripped of weapons, the duo have to go through a series of time trials in order to obtain a spot on the game's scoreboards.
The DLC comes with two playable modes: single player or co-op. The only catch is that, when players die, they have to start back at the beginning and use what they've in order to do better at where they fell.
More Far Cry 4 news will become available soon at Lillestøl’s blog. In the meantime, players could still immerse themselves into Ubisoft Montreal’s action-packed first-person shooter game.
