Ariana Grande is coming back to acting, but her upcoming role for Ryan Murphy's "Scream Queens" is apparently taking a toll on boyfriend Big Sean's ears.
According to Hollywood Life, Grande is returning to acting after snagging a role in Murphy's show, where she will be practicing not only her acting prowess, but also her screaming power. To prepare for her role, Grande is running lines with boyfriend Big Sean, who is very supportive, a source says.
"Big Sean is Ariana's biggest supporter when it comes to her career. He's absolutely amazed by her talent and really feels there is no limit to what she can accomplish," the insider revealed. Also from the source, "She doesn't trust a lot of people so it's nice she has someone she loves to rehearse with."
Being supportive in his girlfriend's acting career, Big Sean gets to see Grande practice her lines, which involve screaming. This has apparently been the one "he has had enough of." Despite this, Big Sean supposedly gives feedback on Grande's lines to help.
"Scream Queens" is a comedy-horror show which will also feature "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello and "Glee" alum Lea Michelle, says Inquisitr. The show is set in a sorority hours in a campus where a series of murders start to happen. Grande will be a recurring guest for the anthology series offering by Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
While Grande may be returning to her acting roots, the singer will not be abandoning her singing career as she is set to perform for the Grammy's and at the NBA All-Star Game weekend, shares Music Times. Grande will be in Los Angeles for the Grammy's and on February 15 she will be at Madison Square Garden, New York for the NBA event.
Those joining Grande as performers for the event might be announced in the upcoming weeks, but possibilities are Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, who collaborated with Grande for the song "Bang Bang." Big Sean might also be included in the lineup.
Last year's NBA All-Star Game weekend held in New Orleans featured Janelle Monae, Earth, Wind and Fire, Shorty Trombone, and Dr. John. Pharrell Williams also performed at the pre-game introductions.
