Is Jason Segel Dating Alexis Mixter? Comedy actor portrays late David Foster Wallace in Sundance's The End of the Tour

The 'How I Met Your Mother' star Jason Segel seems finally an answer in how he meets his ladylove in the person of Alexis Mixter. Despite not confirming their status, the 35-year old actor is recently visible dating the short hair photographer, who is sister of 'The Real L World' star Whitney Mixter.

The two newly rumored couple caught strolling in Lax Airport and US Weekly's insider in West Hollywood's Bristol Farms on January 23. This is another sparkling romance for the actor who's been in and out in singlehood with his former connections with Linda Cardellini, Bojana Novakovic, and My Week with Marilyn Michelle Williams. Segel was also linked to Katie Holmes, who's William's fellow star in Dawson's Creek, but the issue was reportedly false alarm.

On getting involve with someone romantically, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor was once mentioned in his 2010 GQ magazine interview that when he turned 35 he wished he would have a kid. Last January 18 he just turned 35 and reportedly dating, he must be give some updates.

"For me it's much more about meeting the right person," he explained to the mag. I don't have that thing that women have - 'I've gotta be married by the time I'm 33, gotta have a kid by the time I'm 35.' Let's see where life takes me, y'know? If I met the girl, I'd marry her tomorrow," Segel said in the interview.

While he's keeping his love life private at the moment, the actor is very open and busy promoting The End of the Tour. In the said film, which also premiered in Sundance Film Festival, Segel played the late novelist David Foster Wallace and co-starred with Jesse Eisenberg who act as Rolling Stone journalist David Lipsky.

"Specifically, what [The End of the Tour] is about is the last four days of the Infinite Jest book tour. David Lipsky, for Rolling Stone, decided he wanted to do a profile on this man, David Foster Wallace, who had just written a book, Infinite Jest, that was called 'the book of a generation,'" Segel shared "The interviews ended up not getting published, but [Lipsky] published the book after Wallace passed away."

Segel, who usually appeared in funny films such as Sex Tape and The Muppets, portrayal initially earned mixed reviews but some critics told he deserves an Oscar nomination next year.
