‘Silence: The Whispered World 2’ Update: Daedalic Delivers PS4 Version Early 2015, Game Design Enhancement Expected to Enrich Gaming Experience

By

There's nothing to be sheepish or silents about Daedalic Entertainment's announcement of the PS4 release for "Silence: The Whispered World 2." In fact, players have been abuzz about the sequel to the standard point and click adventure game.

"Silence: The Whispered World 2" followed the protagonist Noah, who's now all grown up after being woken up at the end of the previous game, in his search for his sister, Renie, who got separated from him when their hometown was air raided. In hopes of finding his sister, Noah returned to the fantasy world in his dreams.

The game's sequel would also allow the player to use any of the siblings as their game piece, each of the characters also have differently abilities. Add to that, the characters also have a companion, Spot, which could transform into any object or shape depending on the need of the player.

However, what's more clever about the game would be the graphics design method, which the developers call "camera projection." This method would keep the rich hand drawn images of the puzzle filled world of "Silentia (Silence)" that were admired in the first game while incorporating 3D models that would further enhance the gaming experience.

Add to that, the game's sequel would not only be limited to its PC edition as written earlier. Besides the PC and Mac versions, "Silence" would also be released for Xbox One and PS4 early this 2015.

The developers have already made the changes on the game controls in order to adapt to its latest version. They also explained that direct control options and direct hotspot interactions would be integrated for the PS4 version of the game. There would also be an enhancement on the standard game cursor. In the game's sequel, the cursor would also change to fit the environment the players are currently surveying.
