Cal Harris Third Murder Trial: Waiting to Complete 12 Jurors' Proceed; Wife Michele's Body Still Missing After 14 Years

By

Ten down, two more to go and the jurors who are set to facilitate Cal Harris murder trial is complete. These judges are carefully selected to bring fair judgment to Tioga businessman's case which is associated to his wife, Michele Harris, who's missing and allegedly killed on September 11, 2001.

The said trail of 53-year old Harris is his third attempt to prove his innocence after 2007 and 2009 court battles. With that two previous trials and after 14 years since the incident happened, both Michele's body and the weapon that use to kill her were never been found. There are about more than 110 filed as witnesses and apart from a hundred of individuals wanting to become jurors.

In pressconnect.com's account in the murder trial, Cal Harris became the prime suspect for the prosecutors due to his divorce issue with his missing wife. It also said that in the earlier investigations, Cal attacked her with a weapon when she arrived late at their home in Town of Spencer.

Michele was 35-year old then, mother of four kids (Cayla, Janna, Taylor and Tanner) and working as a waitress at a bar and restaurant in Waverly, New York. She also had a 23-year old boyfriend named Brian Earley and planning to buy a new house before her disappearance.

Back March last year Cal and his kids held a press conference at the Owego Treadway appealing to anyone who could help them to locate Michelle and clear Cal's name.

"We want the truth about what happened to our mother. We know there are people out there who have information about mom's disappearance and we know that our father had nothing to do with it. We are asking that these people come forward now," Cayla Harris said during the conference.

Cal, owner of a car dealership company, will face his third murder trial for about two months and if proven guilty he will be imprisoned in 25 years.
