Game developer ArenaNet already scheduled a playable demo for the highly popular online role-playing game 'Guild Wars 2.' The demo will be held at PAX East in Boston on Friday, March 6.
The announcement was made at the PAX South event in San Antonio, Texas during the 'Guild Wars 2: Beyond the Point of No Return' panel, reported Christian Today.
Rumors about the expansion pack have been swelling last week until finally the game developer confirmed it although there is still no specific date given as to the official release of the pack. The fans were teased to wait during the PAX South 2015 regarding the further announcement.
"We did wait to announce this until things had come together," Johanson said. "Now things are going to be happening quickly after this."
The game director Colin Johanson shared that after the playable demo at PAX East in approximately six weeks, there will be a beta testing for the expansion pack, reported Polygon.
"It's going to get released when beta testing says it's ready to get released. We want to involve our players in that. It'll be a process of beta testing the game and making sure that this fundamental groundwork that we're laying is the groundwork that we want to build on top of growing forward.
"When it's ready - when players help us determine it's ready through beta testing - that's when we'll release it."
The Inquistr however informed those who would like to participate to test out the expansion that they cannot expect the game to be fully formed. It believes that without the official confirmation of the release date of the game, it would be logical to think the MMO on display will only show a portion of what the expansion has to offer so that the developers will have the feedback they need to work the game out.
Even so, ArenaNet has taken so much courage to allow the gamers to test the pack before delivering the goods in the market. It can be assumed that they really are interested to give their players a worthy gaming experience.
