Visceral Games will feature three modes for trial, such the high-speed chase centered Hotwire, the Conquest and the new Heist modes including three maps namely, Downtown, Dust Bowl, and Bank Job.
The newest add-on, Hacker, allows a player from each team exploit the battlefield by cracking into security cameras to detect enemies location and securing allies to safe places.
Players can play with the classic cops and criminal warfare with single mode or multiplayer mode up to 64 players.
The Battlefield: Hardline open beta press release on their website reads, "While it's just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay awhile. There won't be a cap on the max progression level so whether you're busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away. The beta is your shot to test the different classes, toy with different gadgets, and find your crew to take down your foes."
Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis expresses his gratitude to the fans and players of previous Battlefield games for their feedbacks to make improvements on the newest version of the game.
"We learned a ton from you in the first beta, enough to help us make the tough call to push the game back so we could add more and make the game better," said Papoutis.
The developer encourages players to "play this beta to death" and asks for feedback in their forum page, this way, developers can look into the game and make necessary changes before the official release of the game.
"During the upcoming beta, we expect to get even more useful intel for the final touches before launch (starting March 17). You can still make a difference, especially when it comes to those 'small things' that we might be able to fine tune for launch or shortly after," said Steve.
Battlefield: Hardline release date is officially confirmed on March 17 for Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
