Cold Chisel Album Release Date Set Soon this 2015, Australian Rock Legends to Play One-Off Show in Canberra

Iconic rock legends Cold Chisel is working on a comeback this 2015. The rock band will be playing an intimate one-off show in Canberra next month.This will be the first time the band will be performing in their homeland after nearly three years.

According to a report, the band will also be working on a new album which will be released later this year. The report said that Cold Chisel will be working in the studio sometime in March to work on the upcoming album.

The intimate one-off show in Canberra will serve as the group's "final tune-up" before they will headline a show at this year's Clipsal 500 motor racing event which will be held in Adelaide, Australia on March 1.

The luminaries will be performing at Canberra's Royal Theatre on February 26. Many of the group's fans would think of this intimate gathering to serve as an excellent prelude to the already announced album.

The band is comprised of frontman Jimmy Barnes, keyboardist Don Walker, lead guitarist and singer Ian Moss and bass player Phil Small. Drummer Steve Prestwich passed away in 2011. The band has been considered to be the voice of Australians for many generations.

the rock icons have certainly not lost sight of their fans. "There's a great energy about really seeing the whites of people's eyes at gigs like this," said Jimmy Barnes. "It's always that bit more intense."

Fans can certainly expect the setlist to be Cold Chisel's longest one yet, playing classics like Bow River, Forever Now, and Flame Trees.

Tickets for the show will be available to the general public on February 3.
