GTA fans would have a hefty reason to be elated this month of February as recent information surfaces claiming that GTA V Online Heists DLC release date is set on February 24. The question now: is this any closer to the truth?
As reported, 4Chan users have retrieved the purported launch info from PlayStation store indicating the said game will be made available on the date mentioned. Upon knowing about the leak, Sony is claimed to have taken out the entry consequently.
However, Rockstar has revealed via their official Newswire that the GTA 5 Online Heists DLC release date will arrive ahead of the PC version.
The announcement indicates: "Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."
Rockstar also added that the GTA Online for PC that can support up to 30 players will be unveiled alongside GTA V for PC including the GTA Online Heists. For console versions, it will be out in the following weeks ahead.
Meanwhile, a YouTube user, DomisLive, leaked game details to the delight of the GTA junkies out there crediting a popular tipster, funmw2, for the latest scoops he has revealed. The reported game codes for the "Yacht" DLC that the tipster got uncovered other vehicles that will be featured.
Dom reportedly made a compilation of the said leaked "Yacht" DLC details and uploaded it on YouTube. The highlighted vehicles include heli-carrier, sm-boat, and CJ's IOA board. Other reveals from the leak also showed a Snow Car, the UFO, the Xero Blimp and the Space Docker.
It pretty looks like the GTA 5 players will be enjoying a field day this February upon the release date of Online Heists patch .
