With the firm Pearson Specter having experienced a subtle shake-up on the roster of its managing partners, what could those involved do to avoid turning the situation into an eruption of scandal hitting the fan and splattering, not only on their faces, but also on the faces of bigwigs in the boardroom? Also, how do they put off the spark that is Louis Litt?
It seemed that the only way to do damage control would be to reconcile their differences, and that's what avid fans would be expecting on the next episode of "Suits." The fans were treated with a small glimpse of what's to come in the upcoming episode through the series creator Aaron Korsh.
Korsh gave a few details of what's going to happen in the next episodes of the legal drama. In episode 12, "Respect," fans would be seeing Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) meeting Harvard professor Henry Gerard (Stephen Macht) to discuss a case that would require amoral tactics to get the job done. The meeting would put pressure on Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) as he tried evading Gerard, whose ethics class he was unable to take while in Harvard.
Also in episode 13, "Fork in the Road," Harvey tried to have Mike and Harvey settle their issues while traveling to see an important client. The episode would also throwback fans to the time where the rivalry between Harvey and Louis began.
The next two episodes would try to mend the wounds that came from the tongue lashing Louis threw at his colleagues in the previous episode, "Enough is Enough." Louis used his knowledge about Mike's pass to get back and get ahead on the firm. As if getting his name on board wasn't enough, he went after his colleagues and tried to break them.
Eventually, Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) had Louis sign a waiver wherein it said he had a part in concealing Mike's real identity before the whole situation blew up on their faces. She also advised Louis on how the firm should operate; comparing it to a quarrelsome family that knew when to regroup when necessary.
"Suits" followed the story of Mike Ross who dropped out of school and ran off avoiding a duped drug deal and eventually landing a job at Pearson Specter and getting the trust of Harvey Specter, one of the most brilliant legal counsels in New York City. Mike revealed his secret with Harvey and later on with other close associates. Unfortunately with the information getting into scheming hands, Mike and Harvey may be in for a rough ride in the upcoming weeks.
