Formula One seven time champion Michael Schumacher is "getting better," as disclosed by Philippe Streiffhen when he visited Michael. Philippe is a Formula 1 racer and friend of the 45-year old F1 champion.
Michael Schumacher had an accident in the French Alps last December 29. Michael was skiing with his son when the accident happened. Michael was not skiing fast, but was unfortunate to lose his control and was thrown 34 feet away where he landed on a partially covered rock and crashed his head. The tragic accident left him brain damage and in a very serious condition.
After that incident everything has changed. Michael was in coma but his will to survive has, awakened him from a deep slumber last June.
Michael's improvement and progress to overcome his fate has been moving slowly and has given hope to all the people specially his family that the F1 champion will soon recover. After having been confined to a wheelchair because of being paralyzed, the seventh-time Formula One champion has shown a great sign of development, hope and life which have given strength to his family and people who love him. Amidst the joy that Michael has already awakened, his family and friends still feels sad and worried because he has speech and memory problems.
According to Mirror, Michael cries silently and would burst into tears when he hears the voice of his wife and children. He would burst into tears every time he hears the familiar sounds and even the sound of his dog can move him to tears.
Michael Schumacher who just turned 46 is recovering and rehabilitating at home in Lake Geneva, Switzerland with his wife Corinna and two children, Gina and Mick. He left the hospital last September, nine months after that tragic accident in the French Alp.
