'Frozen Fever' Update: Disney short film to premiere live-action adaptation of 'Cinderella'; "Let It Go" to be sung by Lopez duo

Disney's 'Frozen' is back to the big screen as 'Frozen 2' is set to hit the theaters on March 13 in front of the live-action adaptation of 'Cinderella'. The seven-minute featurette showcases the continuing adventures of sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) in the kingdom of Arendelle.

According to a report with Variety, the short film will center around Anna's birthday and will take place a few months after the events of 'Frozen'. There is no clear plot as of the moment, but judging from the stills that Disney has released so far, we can expect a developing storyline in the relationship between sisters Anna and Elsa.

Things will take a chilling turn when Queen Elsa comes down with a cold "Elsa doesn't get a cold in the usual way," co-director Jennifer Lee told USA Today."She's special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc."

In th still photos, we can see adorable snippets of the characters the entire world grew to love when 'Frozen' first made its debut. We can see Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Sven in the family portrait. We can also see the lovable Olaf (Josh Gad) taking a bite out of Anna's birthday cake.

"It's really thanks to you guys, the fans, for embracing the movie and now letting us get a chance to go back to Arendelle," co-director Chris Buck said in an interview.

According to USA Today, the film short will also feature a new song by power duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez who were responsible for the hit "Let it Go."

'Frozen' swept the entire world in 2013, and was a major blockbuster hit among children and adults alike.
