Despite the rumors on 'Jay and Beyonce divorce', the couple has stayed put. Even with the rumors on Beyonce's pregnancy and alleged affairs, the rapper and diva does not look like they are going on a split.
The divorce rumors have reportedly began after Jay Z and Beyonce's sister Solange fought in the elevator last year. To worsen an unfavorable situation, the rapper's family were unhappy with the diva's behavior.
It was reported by the Celeb Dirty Laundry that in the January 19 Edition of Star Magazine, an unnamed source said that, "Jay-Z's clan is tired of Beyonce keeping the rapper form his family. There are a lot of hurt feelings, his sister and his mother feel like they have been cast aside. Jay's elevator debacle with Beyonce's sister Solange only made it worse. While they dealt with the fallout, Bey and Jay were forced to close ranks, and it didn't include his family. An insider dished to the magazine that Jay-Z's family was heartbroken when he and his wife decided to ditch their traditional Christmas plans and jet off to Thailand with Blue Ivy for the holiday." The source added, "Showing off for fans was obviously more important to Jay than spending time with loved ones who used to mean the world to him, and they're blaming Beyonce."
However, all these reports just took a back seat after Jay-Z has put in $56 million offer for Aspiro, a Swedish company that controls music services Wimp and Tidal, reported by the New York Times. This, however, has not finalized yet and it needs approval from the shareholders.
Although $56 million is a big money and a faint of heart for many, it was also reported that the rapper has a net worth of over $500 million.
According to CNN's report, "Jay-Z, 45, has a net worth of around $510 million...The 19 Grammy-Award winning rapper is involved in many business ventures and is the founder of entertainment company Roc Nation and the majority owner of 40/40 clubs...The hip-hop mogul co-founded Rocawear in 1999 and sold the rights to the clothing brand in 2007 for $204 million."
Meanwhile, Beyonce is said to be visibly pregnant. And, if 'Jay Z and Beyonce' divorce rumors were true, it does not show.
