The latest sneak peak trailer released before the game at the recent Super Bowl XLIV got all the fans hyped with the movie's release, which is barely less than two months away. Veronica Roth's young adult novel of 'Insurgent' got a slot at the Super Bowl game and showcased another trailer containing Tris' simulation at Jeanine's (Kate Winslet) attempt to open the mystery box.
The latest trailer started off with Tris attached to the wires that might unlock the black box which contained the symbols from the five factions. Later on, Tris wakes up in a simulation then attacks Jeanine. Then everything started crumbling down into rubbles as our heroine falls from up high going to the ground. With an exciting additional to its movie teasers, the viewers can expect more from the film.
Jonny Weston Speaks About 'Edgar', Veronica Roth Slams Love Triangle Rumors Among Tris, Four and Edgar
As some of you may know, Edgar, Jonny Weston's (Chasing Mavericks) character, is not part of the original novel. It was later on created to support Naomi Watts' (Evelyn) role. Weston revealed some facts about his character. "He's a member of the Factionless. And he's pretty high up. He's a pretty hardcore dude. He's a slugger." he said, Fashion & Style reports.
Many fans speculated on what roles will Edgar take in the story of "Insurgent". Reports suggest that his character might jeopardize the relationship of Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (James Theo). The actor didn't confirm nor deny the issue. "I'm not even sure where that's going to go." Weston said in a forum, MTV writes.
But as you may remember, in a statement of Veronica Roth last year, she already shut off the rumors that this new character might spell trouble for the romance between the lead characters. But this assurance didn't rub off the fears that the fans have.
"Insurgent" will conquer the theaters on March 20.
