The third female character to join the upcoming "Star Trek 3" movie will be the female President for the United Federation of Planets.

The last one to join the cast will be a male character who will be the main villain for the upcoming title. News states that Bryan Cranston is the top pick of the studio or at the least he had a meeting with Paramount Studios. The report also said that the character will be "Bryan Cranston-like" but it won't be a surprise if the actor himself gets the role. It was previously reported that the production team of "Star Trek 3" will have major change in its crew. According to the reports, Simon Pegg will be a co-writer in the film's script and the whole shoot will be made under the eye of Justin Lin.

The events in the upcoming "Star Trek 3" movie will pick up years after the Star Trek Into Darkness film. The Enterprise crew will be in the middle of its famous five-year voyage. The third film in the "Star Trek" series will have a closer tone with the original TV series.

"Star Trek 3" is scheduled to hit the big screen on July 2016. Fans can expect a new experience with the third film and hopefully the new production crew will lead it into the right direction.
