Agent Carter season 1 episode 5 promises Marvel fans of more 'Captain America' stars to appear following Stan Lee's cameo and Howard Stark's (Dominic Cooper) return. This Tuesday, The Howling Commandos are next to be on Peggy's side in the all-new episode.
The official spoilers/synopsis for 'Iron Ceiling episode' of Agent Carter's first season teases Peggy will embark on a new mission. It's huge enough to get the Howling Commandos squad including Dum Dum Dugan (Neal McDonough) as backup.
Chief Dooly (Shea Whigham) however decides that as an agent who has been out of the field for awhile, Peggy will need one of the men from SSR.
"Her cover could be at risk when SSR Chief Dooley also sends Agent Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) with her," the synopsis revealed.
Jack plays hard on Peggy to the point of questioning her place at the SSR but no matter how this may sound unfortunate for Agent Carter, her assignment with Jack will provide a window of opportunity to prove what she's capable of as an agent.
here are reports speculating that despite the odds that are ongoing between Carter and Thompson at the moment, spending time together on the same mission would likely open a door to a romantic relationship for the two agents.
Meanwhile, showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas sat down in a reported interview to talk about Dottie, Peggy's new neighbor who possessed special fighting skills when she killed the villainous Mr. Mink without a sweat.
Fazekas and Butters confirmed that Dottie is in fact a product of the Black Widow Program, or a program that will evolve into Black Widow. When asked if Dottie is a Black Window, Fazekas responded, "That's correct! She is a product of the Black widow program." Butters added, "But we in the series, are not actually calling her a Black Widow."
Fazekas went on saying, "Yeah, we actually never say Black Widow, but people who know about it...You'll learn even more about it and her history in the next episode."
So, fans can stay tuned to find out more about Dottie as well as the sparking romance between Agent Carter and Jack Thompson this Tuesday at 9PM ET on ABC.
