"Bigger is better" and that's how it would go for the latest anticipated title from "The Witcher" series of game developer CD Projekt Red.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" would not be available until May 19 and yet it has been reported to gobble up roughly around 50GB of HDD space in the Playstation 4. The game was already dubbed as one of the most "ambitious games" made and could possibly be one of the nicest looking games released this year based on the expected content and design the developers have been incorporating in the title.
Compared to its predecessor released for the PC, "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings," the upcoming title tripled its size and at least 50 hours of game play in the main storyline. However, co-founder Marcin Iwinski assured players that the game content would be worth the disk space.
In another interview, bigwigs from CD Projekt Red explained the reasons behind the delay and the enormous disk space requirement for the game. The interview with Level Designer Miles Tost and VP of Global Marketing Tomasz Jarzbowski highlighted the experience they wanted to share with players new to "The Witcher's" world, particularly players with game consoles as this would be the first time "The Witcher" franchise would be released in Playstation 4.
The action role-playing would continue from where it left off in "Witcher 2," this time bringing back Witcher Geralt of Rivia in a mission to save his world from the mystic armies, the Wild Hunt, who's march to the Northern Kingdoms left a trail of blood and ruin.
Apart from the anticipated Playstation 4 release, which had been moved several times since last year, the upcoming "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" would also be available for Xbox One and its original platform, the PC. Game console players were advised, though, to get added HD space when getting the detail intense game.
