"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is a closed book right now. Sure, we know more than we did about the future Marvel blockbuster a few months ago- like that Andy Serkis is officially playing Ulysses Klaw (and will probably feature in "Captain America: Civil War" and "Black Panther" as well) or that the Scarlet Witch may be the cause of why the Hulk is so angry at Iron Man.
But now, thanks to one potential leaker, we know so much more- specifically, three secret characters that may have cameo appearances in the film.
The info comes from a Reddit user named the_marvel_intern, who recently spilled about 6,000 tons of beans on a Reddit thread. According to the Redditor, who claims to be an intern that worked for Marvel Studios and was recently fired, leading to an angry spilling of secrets online.
And in that thread, the_marvel_intern claimed that three "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." characters would be headed to "Age of Ultron"- specifically Coulson, May and Skye/Daisy. That'd be huge for "Age of Ultron," because of how crucial a role Coulson played in the last movie. If any of the Avengers had an inkling that he was still alive, it'd be an enormously emotional scene.
As well, Cinema Blend speculates that the cameo appearances might be as important for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as for "Age of Ultron." Having the stars of Marvel's ABC series cameo in one of the biggest films of the year would certainly boost the word-of-mouth for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
The_marvel_intern also provided spoilers for films like "Ant-Man" and "Thor: Ragnarok," talking about potential new directors for the third "Thor" film and detailing the role of Henry Pym (played by Michael Douglas) in "Ant-Man." At this point, there's no way of telling if Marvel really is planning these cameos or if the leaker is just trying to gain a little Internet notoriety. But we'll find out soon- "Age of Ultron" is just a few months away.
