‘God of War 4’ PS4 Release Date: Updates on Final Kill for Kratos revealed; Spartan could challenge Norse God of War on mythological finale

What would happen to a warrior turned god who had already reached the apex of his journey and already claimed absolution? This question would be hunting avid fans of the indignant Kratos. But an answer would soon be provided as developers of the bloodcurdling adrenalin pumping ancient Greek carnage had already started work on "God of War 4."

The developer of the "God of War" franchise, Sony Computer Entertainment, had confirmed that their Santa Monica Studio has already started the development of the "God of War 4" for the PS4 game console, which would probably set for release in a couple of years.

Meanwhile, a lot of fans have started speculating what would "God of War 4" look like. Fans are pointing out to a story line much like the title released earlier in 2013, "God of War: Ascension," which was for PS3 where the player was thrown back to the time Kratos was still a slave of Ares, the Olympian God of War.

However, others believe that Kratos had already literally burned all the bridges that could be used for a fresh story line. Players, especially those who followed Kratos' journey could relate to this.

Kratos from being a war-lord who struck a deal with Ares in "God of War 1," became God of War himself after exacting his revenge. He connived with the Titans and shook the halls of Olympus, uncovering the truth behind his identity in God of War 2. He killed all the three of the senior Gods of Olympus, the brother Hades, Poseidon and ultimately Zeus; not to mention mutilating other members of the 12 Olympians, plus murdering the Titans.

The man was on a rampage. What else could he do?

So, some fans theorized that after leveling down Olympus, Kratos might be challenged by the Norse Gods in Valhalla, beginning with his Scandinavian counterpart Tyr. With a successful franchise since its conception and release in PS2, anything could be possible for "God of War 4."

The game certainly had gone a long way, so for the avid fans here would be some more interesting facts as they await for the "God of War 4." The game was initially released in 2005, with seven titles on its belt. Hades was voiced by Clarence J Brown III, the same voice for extreme cheapskate Mr. Krabs in "Spongebob Squarepants." Leigh-Allyn Baker of Disney's "Good Luck Charlie, once voiced for one of the Bath House Girls in "God of War 2."
