With the upcoming Xbox One release of "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" on Feb. 17th, its developer Team Ninja Studio released a fresh trailer featuring old time favorites, plus a few new characters from other fighting games.
The launch trailer would feature Wicked Lil' Servant Marie Rose, The Tragic Weapon Phase-4, Naughty Tengu Princess Nyotengu, The Regenaration of Brutality Raidou and Super Secret Fighter Chick Honoka, with a glimpse of the ensemble of fighters coming from the realm of Sega.
Koei Tecmo, Team Ninja's mother company, even explained why Raidou was dubbed as "the regeneration of brutality" in "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round." They explained that Raidou was reanimated into a cyborg after his demise in an explosion in the First Dead or Alive Tournament. With that, Raidou even had his own set of launch trailers featuring his skills and fighting style Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu.
The videos, which were uploaded in the official Team Ninja Studio Youtube account, would also feature the latest fashion of the female players. However, players would be advised not to be deceived by the female fighters' costume hugging nicely on their forms, because these beauties could knock players unconscious, literally.
"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" was initially plugged on Aug. 2014 at the "Dead of Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade Fighting Carnival" in Japan. The game would use the revolutionary "soft engine" to enhance the appearance of the fighters for the PS4 and Xbox One release. The over 400 hundred costumes that would be featured in the fighting game were created by fans during a designer challenge prepared by Team Ninja. The latest costumes and hairstyles would be available for PS4 and Xbox One under the Costume Options menu. Also, players owning the "Dead of Alive 5 Ultimate" released for PS3 and XBox 360 could upgrade their game to "Dead of Alive 5 Last Round.
