"Kingdom Hearts 3" may be released by December 2015 according to a recent report. The much awaited game will also resolve all cliff hangers and loose ends in the past "Kingdom Hearts" game and quite possible end the entire game franchise. Development team reveals what fans can expect in the upcoming title.
Ever since "Kingdom Hearts 3" was revealed last E3 2013 event, there were too little information and official statement from Square Enix regarding the status and development of the game. However due to its inclusion in the recent listing of Amazon's 2015 game release, fans have been wondering if the game will indeed be released this year. Most online retailers use date placement holder for the upcoming games in order for the consumers to pre-order them. This may not be a concrete proof for its release, but fans can still hope that it will be true.
The latest installment for the "Kingdom Hearts" game franchise will have an overall improvement over its predecessors. From the graphics, gameplay and contents, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will offer more diversity and a lot of innovation. Developers also aim to enhance the game's replay value by offering a lot of variety in its content.
Tai Yasue, a co-director and game designer for "Kingdom Hearts 3", said that there are different development team who works on their current title and they are making a lot of progress recently. A recent report states that Yasue said Square Enix gives their team a lot of time to plan during the early stages of development and test their ideas before they take on a definite path.
In the same report, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be following the storyline of "Kingdom Hearts 2" and all the other "Kingdom Hearts" game are accompanying the main titles to give the more background story and clarify some loose plot.
It was also reported that all the cliff-hangers and unfinished arcs from the previous games will be resolved and concluded in the upcoming title. The whole series may also get a conclusion in "Kingdom Hearts 3". Tai Yasue even said that "...after all we want to conclude the saga in Kingdom Hearts 3 and there are lot of threads that haven't been completed, for example Ventus and Terra in Birth By Sleep, what's going to happen to them for example. There is going to be lot of stuff like that in Kingdom Hearts 3, so expect a lot of characters, old and new."
"Kingdom Hearts 3" may get a surprise release date this 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One. While it may conclude the storyline of the "Kingdom Hearts", it will not be the final Kingdom Hearts game that fans are going to play. Square Enix may release more games based on this successful game franchise.
