Ubisoft titles like "Far Cry" and "Watch Dogs" had been very popular with players, especially with those who had been following the game since their conception. Their story lines were interesting, something which players also look after while reaching for the trophy. However, wouldn't it be more fantastic if these games were made into TV series?
Well, these titles were recently registered trademarks for other purposes than video game related material. In fact, the latest trademark for these titles mentioned of "continuing television programs and interactive television programs." The "interactive television programs" would open possibilities for "Far Cry" and "Watch Dogs" like "comedy, drama, live action and animation," which would be delivered through several platforms like "broadcast over television, satellite, audio and video media."
What would be more interesting is that the trademark would also include "live stage show performances" and "live show performances by costumed characters," which includes live theatrical performances. If fans would not be in to theater, then movies would be another option included in the trademark. For bookworms, "Far Cry's" and "Watch Dogs'" recent trademark would also allow for the publication of paper and online reading material.
However, the filing of trademarks for these titles would not guarantee the development of the media content mentioned earlier. The trademark could have been file as a proactive measure in case characters from the popular Ubisoft titles, like "Far Cry" and "Watch Dogs," would incidentally make their way on TV or the movies. On the other hand, there would be no denying that another Ubisoft title, "Assassin's Creed," would soon be hitting the big screen.
Other than "Far Cry," "Watch Dogs" and "Assassin's Creed," another Ubisoft title also registered for a trademark, which made fans and players wonder how it would look like in TV or the big screen; that title would be "Just Dance."
