"Neighbors 2" is currently in the works and is slated to hit the silver screen on May 13, 2016. Zac Efron reprises his role and bare all in the upcoming movie as the Radners enlist his help in dealing with a new Female Sorority problem.
Zac Efron will be back on screen together with Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne in "Neighbors 2" which is a follow up sequel to the 2014 comedy hit movie, "Bad Neighbors". The first Neighbors movie took the global box office with over $250m earning even though it has a modest production budget during its filming.
Universal Pictures, the film distributor for the new Neighbors film, has officially announced that "Bad Neighbors 2" aka "Neighbors 2" will hit U.S. theaters on May 13, 2016. Point Grey Pictures, a production company founded by Seth Rogen and Evand Goldberg, will produce the upcoming film.
Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne will reprise their roles as the young Radner couple as they struggle to rear up their toddler daughter. Zac Efron will also reprise his role as Teddy Sanders who was their former "neighbor" during the "Bad Neighbor" movie.
In the new movie, the Radners couple will seek to enlist the help of their Teddy and some of his brothers in the fraternity to take down the wild parties and shenanigans of their new neighbors which is a Female Sorority. The female twist in "Neighbors 2" will be a fresh perspective to the upcoming film considering that the previous mishaps in the first film revolve around Teddy and his fraternity.
Screenrant reports that "Neighbors" has proven to be a huge financial success for the producers, as such, fans can expect that there will be a lot more of "Neighbors" installment to come. However, the report states that it may be best for the film to be left as a standalone considering that the jokes and humor in the film are limited in a particular concept.
