Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter V' New Album Update, Rumors: Album Part 2 Delays Release? TI, Wayne's Secret Move to Form New Record Label, Drops 'Baby'?

By

Last year Lil Wayne revealed that his album "Tha Carter" will be released in two parts. The first was already launched last December 9, 2014, the latter will hopefully this year. With his second parter, the rapper will be collaborating with other great artists as negotiations to form new record label with T.I. was also reported.

The rapper will be collaborating with T.I. to form new joint label. Media Take Out said that the two have tentatively signed an agreement to join to create a "super record label." With their secret negotiations, the two have agreed to make new name, thus, it won't be linked to "Young Money" or "Grand Hustle" since they will be making another label.

Moreover, revelations about negotiating other great artists like Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj also existed. According to the same site, both Wayne and T.I. have rights to these artists. Wayne has his rights to Drake and Nicki and T.I. to Iggy Azalea. Therefore, when these artists will have a fixed agreement, there would a new record label "One Umbrella."

This move by Wayne rooted when Baby didn't released his "Tha Carter V" album resulting to his upset with the outtcome of the record label. So, he is now suing him for $8 Million in advances since he believed that Baby had violated their agreements [from their contract] through not releasing his album. Cited by Latin Post, Lil Wayne will be dropping off from YMCMB and still continue recording, yet, he won't be releasing his albums under the same label. Instead, "he will release his album outside of the Cash Money Umbrella," reports quoted.

Tension occurred on a Friday night in IVY Nightclub in Miami Beach, where T.I. Shouted, "T.I. Is the king!" right after he performed his latest single "About the Money." But, during that time his rival had already left the venue. On that same night, the clues about the possible partnership between T.I. And Wayne were clearer.

An insider said, "It was definitely a night meant to be about Young Thug and of course Birdman himself, however T.I. Definitely stole the show for himself."

With his second album to release this year, the second parter, was already delayed since 2014. Even during the last December, there is no definite date to announce yet for that matter. Until now, there is still no word from the rapper when it would possible be released, though they assured fans to have it by first quarter of 2015. One site mentioned about the YMCMB President Mack Maine's statement about Wayne's album release.

He said, "It's a lot of stuff that goes on with putting an album out ... It's way more behind-the-scenes that goes on with deadlines and stuff like that. Everybody should want this album be out anyway in any company."
